The Hans Langenskiöld’s Alba Care Foundation has always supported the Neema Hospital project, giving a great contribution to the construction of a maternity ward, therefore named the “Alba Maternity Department”.
After completion of the building, Hans Langenskiöld, accompanied by his son Fredrik, visited the site to monitor the activities of the Ward, particularly the Theatre, and decided to renew his support to World Friends and the Neema Hospital, by starting a new initiative: the
Alba Care Surgical Project. The project is aimed at supporting surgical operations for the most disadvantaged children from Nairobi North-East, who normally do not have access to medical care and very expensive surgery.
